Teen Bible Lessons is a refreshed and updated version of Sunday School Lesson Connection.

It contains over thirty free Teen Bible lesson plans that can be taught in Sunday

School or youth group for middle schoolers. Teenagers have also done these lessons on there own.

Teen Bible Lessons exists to help you, the volunteer Sunday school teacher, have a successful and fun youth ministry. Many of the ideas in this website can be used for a broader youth ministry than just Sunday School. However, I believe that the Bible lessons provided are a crucial element to to a successful youth ministry.

This has become a world wide resource for teen Bible lessons. The lesson plans have been downloaded more that 200,000 times in 181 countries.

Kevin, with his wife Rachel, live in the mountains of Colorado.
Kevin is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He moved to Aspen in 1978. Rachel is from Miami Springs, Florida and moved to Aspen about the same time. We met at work and were best friends for years before we were married in 1982.

Rachel came to Christ from the witness of a past employer, who continues to this day to be her spiritual mentor, our son’s acting grandmother, and our daughter’s namesake.

Kevin was brought up in the Christian Reformed Church but did the prodigal son thing. Although he never returned home he did return to his faith after many years with renewed devotion. He has served on the elder boards of two churches and has been an Ambassador for Promise Keepers. But none of that has been as rewarding as working with youth.

History

Kevin had a successful Junior High Sunday School class for many years at Church at Carbondale in Carbondale, Colorado. After that he filled in as the volunteer “youth dude” at Mid Valley Church for six months until a Youth Pastor was hired and then continued teaching Sunday School there again after the “hired gun” moved on. He taught “Youth Church” for Grace Church. Currently he is teaching middle school Sunday school at Crossroads Fellowship in Pagosa Springs. Colorado.

Kevin & Rachel owned and operated a custom electronics installation company called Kevin’s Connections later called Aspen Home Electronics for nineteen years retiring in 2018

Kevin’s has served as a moderator for Group’s Youth Ministry forum, and as an ambassador for Promise Keepers.

His lessons are being translated into Spanish for a ministry in Mexico call Pro-Vision, and Nepali in Nepal for Hamro Ashish (Monthly Nepali Christian Magazine).

My wife and I also teach parenting classes (click here for info on that) because sometimes the best way to help kids is to help their parents.

We Believe:

That the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.
In one God, the Creator; eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
